When you meet someone who makes you feel completely at home, it’s clear — it’s love. There was this one moment during Natalie & Nick’s session when everything seemed to stop and it was so clear to me that they were each other’s comfort. Natalie, mid-laughter, looked over at Nick and he smiled back at her like she was the only person in the room. That’s the beauty of their relationship: in the midst of all the laughter and energy, there’s this quiet, undeniable connection that speaks volumes. From the moment we started, the giggles never stopped. It wasn’t just about the beautiful locations or the gorgeous light; it was about the way Nick made Natalie feel completely at ease. The way she couldn’t help but laugh in the most joyful way was such a reflection of their relationship.

To shoot on the beautiful Ohio State campus, a place that holds a special meaning for both of them, was so joyful. As huge OSU fans, the location was the perfect spot to document this next chapter in their love story. But it was even more meaningful because in a way it was a marker of their story. Nick’s parents met on the Mansfield OSU campus, and Natalie’s parents met at the main campus in Columbus so it symbolizes not just the love between the two of them, but the generations before them who found their own love through Ohio State.
