With a new family member in her arms, she looked around their home. At all the of the toy tractors and walls waiting to be filled with memories and realized their family was changing. The first girl in the family. They knew exactly how to play tractors up and make Layne giggle, but what would raising a boy be like? They looked at each other and imagined her growing up. Wondering what her favorite color will be, what her voice will sound like, and which one of them she’ll look more alike. Now, they are a family of four and their hearts have never been so full.

Layne is so precious, every time he reached down to give “ssss ssss” (his best attempt at sissy) a kiss my heart *melted*. He’ll get to teach his little sister, Etta, how to make a mess and say all done. He’ll get to be her biggest protector. I can already tell Etta is going to make the best baby sister, never even squirming when the he gets rambunctious and wants to play. These kiddos are so lucky to have each other as forever best friends, but even more lucky to have Ty and Marissa to guide and love them as they grow up.
