Life can be a whirlwind, especially for the Howard’s, who are living in a season of busyness. With the girls both deep into soccer season and a new puppy bringing energy and chaos to the home, it can feel like there’s hardly a moment to slow down. But during our session at Rabold Park, the Howards found a small window of time to be fully present with each other—laughing, playing, and soaking in the joy that comes from just being together.

As I watched Kylie and Khloe, I couldn’t help but think of my own relationship with my sister. We didn’t start out as best friends! We fought over clothes, shared space, and just about everything else. I shared that with the girls, and they immediately started telling me about how they’d been arguing over borrowing each other’s clothes earlier that day. It made me smile because I know that one day, like my sister and me, they’ll look back and laugh at these moments as part of their journey toward becoming each other’s biggest cheerleaders.

What stood out most during our session was the love and support that runs so deeply in this family. Cara and Troy have created a foundation that is full of kindness and connection, and it’s reflected in the way their family interacts—not just with each other, but with everyone around them. Even with the busy schedules and the constant to-do lists, they’ve managed to keep what’s most important at the center: their love for one another.

Their two dogs, full of life and energy, added another layer of fun to the day, and when the grandparents joined us for a few shots, it felt like the perfect representation of the Howard family’s values—strong, supportive, and full of love across generations.
