I’m a holiday tradition girl at heart. I love the little things my family does every year that makes Christmas time so special. Over the last 4 years Christmas Mini sessions have become a bit of a tradition and I wouldn’t have it any other way. This year was so rewarding and heartwarming to hear families tell me that this is their first time ever having professional family photos, or that it’s been 10 years since they’ve had professional family photos. Being able to hear new stories *and* shoot with families that I’ve been photographing for the last 5 years, all in the same day, is the most fulfilling experience for me. Whether this was your very first Christmas mini experience or your 10th time in front my camera, I hope these images always serve as a reminder of the love you have for each other!

Tara, Kyle, Kindsey, Oaklyn, & Kam,

I feel so honored that I not only get to watch the kiddos grow everyday but that I get to capture it as it’s happening. Chasing Kam around and trying to do anything and everything to get him to look at my camera makes me smile because I remember doing the same thing with Oaklyn. The kids are constantly changing and I hope these images stop time for just a moment so that you always remember them as they are right now, in this season of chaos.

The first ever session with Grayson in front of my camera was so perfect. It is the most incredible experience to watch your family begin. From your engagement pictures to your first Christmas card as a family of 3, I couldn’t be more grateful to be a part of every milestone. Grayson is already growing, squirming, and finding his personality. I hope these images always remind you of the love your family was created on.

I’m still surprised that you guys haven’t done family photos for 10 years because you were so perfect in front of the camera! Hearing all of your giggles and fun jokes to each other warmed my heart so much. Even though Tristan and Emma are becoming adults and finding their own path, taking pictures together as the family unit of support that you guys are is still so important. I was so excited to get you both in front of my camera again. Capturing your wedding just a few months ago showed me so much about who the two of you are and I loved getting to know you and being a part of such a memorable day for you. It made me smile when you had said that not much has changed since getting married because you both had already committed yourselves and had that much love for each other.
