Shelby and Mike were made to be together. They were made to make each other burst with laughter. Made to comfort each other. Just moments before the ceremony began I heard Shelby’s dad say, “I can’t believe she’s getting married, that’s my little Shelby Jo!” My heart instantly melted. He continued, “We’re so blessed to be welcoming Mike into our family, I just don’t know where the time went.” The way that their two families became one on this special September day was the perfect representation of their love. The people that love them the most in this world, were now witnesses to the beginning of their lives together.

Everything changed as soon as they locked eyes across the aisle. When Shelby and Mike are together, everyone around them can feel the comfort, peace, and love that surrounds them. The flowers, the dress, the rings, the candles are all beautiful symbols of their future and their love, but as long as they’re together you can feel the love they have for one another.

I can’t express enough gratitude for letting me into your lives. Caden and I had the best time capturing the memories of your wedding day. It brings me so much joy to think that these are the images you’ll look back on in 10, 20, 30, 50, 80 years to remember the start of the rest of your lives. It’s been such a blessing in my life to learn about your love, family, and happiness. I hope you remember all of the little moments that were hidden between the big milestones of your wedding and that these images always remind you exactly how you felt on this beautiful September day.
