The season of engagement is such a whirlwind. It’s one of the only seasons in life when you can actually feel its impact while you’re living it. Before it, everything in your future is just a vision. Something you imagine when you’re bored in class or lying awake before you fall asleep. When you’re engaged, you’re often planning to move in together, start your careers, build the foundation of your marriage, and, of course, plan a wedding. But somehow, in the middle of all of that, you’re so present.

You’re in a season of waiting for the future while also feeling like it’s unfolding in real time. And that truly only happens once. Every season that follows seems to slip by so quickly. What a special time it is to stand right there in the middle of it all with the person you love most, looking ahead to some of the best days of your life.
