Lexi & Brian’s wedding was supposed to be full of rain. But somehow, the clouds cleared and the sun settled over the water like it had been planned that way all along. It felt fitting for them. Like even the day itself knew how important this moment was. Right before Lexi got into her dress, she told me about how she had a moment to herself that morning standing alone by the water. The water was a place of grounding for her. Brian had proposed on the lake what felt like not that long ago. And they had dreamed about this day everyday since. She told me she had been thinking about her grandpa and wishing he could be there to witness it all with them. A few moments later, she saw a red cardinal nearby and instantly felt comforted, like somehow he was.

The beautiful thing about Lexi & Brian is how deeply connected they are, not only to each other, but to the people around them. You can tell their lives have been built alongside family and friends who would do absolutely anything for them.

Your wedding day was such a beautiful reflection of the life you’ve already built together, one full of family, friendship, support, and so much genuine joy.
