Looking around their home and realizing the walls were already filled with memories from Brewer and Hallie’s baby days made me realize just how much more their love would grow now that Charlie is here and there are three littles to love on. Just weeks ago, they were imagining her. Wondering who she would look like. Wondering how Brewer and Hallie would love on her. Wondering how their hearts would stretch one more time. Now they know.

I feel so lucky that I got to watch Hallie reach for her tiny hand, and listen to Brewer absolutely glow talking about his new baby sister. Every time they asked to hold her or give her “just one more kiss,” it felt like watching their family knit itself together in real time. Charlie fits into their family like she has always been supposed to be there. She is already so loved. These three are going to grow up side by side — sharing toys, secrets, messes, and probably a few arguments too. But if this session showed me anything, it’s that they are being raised in a home where love is loud, steady, and intentional.
